Cal. 577 Snider. NSN. Bbl. 36". Blade front sight. Ladder rear sight graduated to 800yds. Lock has 1860 date with "L.A. Co." marking. Breechblock has BSA & Snider's Patent markings. Walnut stock with partially faded 1860/I roundel, bottom mounted sling swivels with repro white sling. Ramrod present. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: British P53 socket bayonet with leather scabbard. CONDITION: refinished stock has added finish with a couple carved letters on left side, a few light chips, scattered dings, scratches & handling marks. Brass parts are a dull yellow color with scattered dings & oxidation staining. Balance of metal is a dull gray patina with scattered oxidation, some pitting, dings, edge wear & handling marks. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Bore shows scattered frosting & light pitting but good rifling. (01-27844/MJC). ANTIQUE. $800-1200.
