MACHINE GUN PARTS KIT. A 7.62x51mm NATO derivative of the SIG Stgw. 57 battle rifle, the SIG 510-4 was designed having smaller overall profile & lighter weight w/ the intent of sales to the Chilean military. This parts kit is marked "ARMADA/ DE CHILE" above the S# "5596" over the chamber w/ "SIG" in an oval marked over the top of the buttstock socket. Kit consists of a bbl., bbl. shroud, trigger housing, bolt assembly, buttstock, spare wood forend, as well as 1 - 20 rd. mag. plus a bayonet w/ scabbard. All numbers are matching & are present on the receiver, bbl. shroud, trigger housing, bolt assembly, as well as on the bayonet. CONDITION: metal components exhibit varying degrees of wear & thinning that show through to gray patina & scattered marks from handling & storage. Some areas of hardened grease as well as some spots of surface oxidation & pitting. Mirror bore, exhibiting some very light pitting while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Wood furniture shows scattered marks & impressions from handling & storage plus a sizeable loss present on the right side of the handguard. Spare handguard shows marks & impressions from handling & storage, but otherwise remains sturdy & serviceable. Bayonet shows some age related discoloration, but otherwise remains very good overall.
