SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 9mm Largo. S# A357381. Bbl. 4 7/8". Model A semi-automatic pistol mfg. in Spain by Star for the Spanish Air Force. Left side of the slide exhibits standard markings denoting Star's mfg. information and the cal. designation, with the Spanish Air Force crest marked on the right. Left side of the frame is marked "EA.", followed by an apparent military contract number (repeated on left side of slide and bbl. without "EA."), followed by a triad of Spanish proofs. Right side of the frame exhibits a Century Arms import marking. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the trigger, which is polished in-the-white, as well as the hammer, which is case colored. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Fat half-moon blade front sight with dovetailed square notch rear sight. MAGS: x1 blued steel 8-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their arsenal blue finish, exhibiting some spots and areas of wear fading to gray patina, scattered superficial handling marks, as well as some scattered spots and patches of light to mild surface oxidation and pitting. Bore exhibits consistent darkened mild to moderate pitting, while retaining good rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Left grip panel is good, showing some smoothing and scattered handling marks. Right panel shows heavy wear and smoothing, with several scattered chips. (26-115/MLW). CURIO. $300-450.
