This fine group includes 1 Spanish American War era haversack marked “U.S.” on the front flap and “ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL” on the inside. Haversack is complete with leather sling. / 1 Spanish American War era canteen marked “U.S.” on the front and “DEL. 792” on the reverse. Canteen has a “make do” stopper with original leather sling. / 1 Spanish American War era canteen marked “U.S.” on the front. Canteen has a leather mounted troops suspension sling. / 1 Tan Mills belt likely for a Krag rifle. Buckle is a C-type closure. / 1 British M1903 cartridge bandolier in russet leather with 9 pockets and brass buckles. / 1 British 1903 cartridge bandolier in russet leather for the cavalry with 5 total pockets. / 1 Large dark leather 8-pocket bandolier with shoulder straps. Bandolier has snap catches on the front and an interlocking iron buckle closure. / 1 Pair of saber hangers with gold bullion facings. / 1 Russet leather & brass cavalry saber hanger. CONDITION: all items generally show light wear with no damage. The Mills belt is well-worn. The British cavalry bandolier is quite dry. Cavalry saber hanger has one broken strap.
