WITH SMITH & WESSON MUSEUM COLLECTION TAG. Cal. 32 Long. S# 114761. Bbl. 4 1/8". Copy of a Smith & Wesson hand ejector double action revolver mfg. in Spain by Orbea Hermanos. Left side of the bbl. is marked "32 LONG CTG" between Maltese crosses, with "BEST AMERICAN CARTRIDGES ARE THOSE THAT FIT BEST THE/ O.H. REVOLVER", followed by patent information. Left side of the frame is marked with an "OH" monogram in the style of the Smith & Wesson trademark logo. Frame is marked "SPAIN" to the rear of the trigger guard, with the S# marked on the butt. Metal components exhibit a nickel plated finish overall, save for on the trigger and hammer, which are case colored. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered horn grips, each featuring the "OH" monogram at the top of the panel. Fixed half-moon blade front sight with frame notched rear sight. All parts are matching via the assembly # "702" and include the frame (beneath right grip panel), cyl. (beneath ejector), cyl. crane, bbl., and right grip panel (interior). Trigger guard retains its Butterfield & Butterfield auctions Smith & Wesson Museum tag. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Smith & Wesson cardboard box with end label that reads "MANUFACTURER: O. Hermanos/ MODEL: .32 Regular Police/ SERIAL NUMBER: 114761/ CALIBRE: .32 S&W/ FINISH: Nickel/ INVENTORY NUMBER:/ INVENTORY LOCATION: Cabinet 1". CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their nickel plated finish, exhibiting scattered superficial handling marks, with some small scattered spots and patches of flaking present overall. Trigger and hammer exhibit wear and thinning to gray patina in contact areas, with visible case colors present in protected areas. Bore is bright, exhibiting scattered spots and patches of darkened light to mild pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show some minor smoothing and superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sound. Box shows mild exterior wear, but otherwise remains sound.
