WITH MATCHING INTERARMS BOX & ACCESSORIES. Cal. 9mm Largo. S# 562621. Bbl. 5". Model A Super semi-automatic pistol mfg. in Spain by Star in 1957 and imported by Interarms. Left side of the slide is marked with Star's mfg. information and cal. designation above "030675," with "MODELO/ SUPER" marked on the right. Left side of the frame is marked with a matching "030675," followed by Spanish commercial and military proofs, as well as the date code "C1" (1957), with Interarms' importer information marked on the right. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bbl. and trigger, which are polished in-the-white, as well as the hammer, which is case color hardened. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered mottled brown plastic grips. Blade front sight, with square notch rear sight. All numbers are matching via "030675" and include the frame, slide, and bbl. MAGS: four 8-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching Interarms importer box. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original finishes, exhibiting some areas of wear and thinning, scattered handling marks, as well as areas of light to mild surface oxidation overall. Checkered panel on rear grip strap exhibits oxidation overall. Bore is bright, exhibiting areas of mild pitting and oxidation, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Grips show smoothing and scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. Box is very good overall. PROVENANCE: from the lifelong collection of Bill Peterken.
