Cal. 12 ga. NSN. Bbl. 23 3/4" w/ bead sight. First successful American pump shotgun mfg. in Windsor, Connecticut 1882-89. Spencer patents were purchased by Bannerman & Sons of New York about 1890. Hammerless action w/ cocking lever located in forward portion of trigger guard. Round knob walnut stock w/ hard rubber buttplate. Bakelite forearm. CONDITION: metal has heavy brown patina w/ scattered spots of light pitting. Stock has age darkened appearance showing mildew spots, scratches, marks & small dents. Buttplate is chipped at toe. Forearm has lightly worn checkering. Lightly pitted bore. (01-25329/DS). ANTIQUE. $200-300.
