Cal. 7mm Mauser. S# F4633. Bbl. 22". Loewe made Chilean Mauser. Matching number on barrel cocking piece, floorplate & trigger guard. Ladder rear sight graduated 2,000 meters. Blade front sight. Rifle has been sporterized by shortening the stock, replacing the bolt handle w/ a low scope type & the addition of a Dayton-Traster MKII low scope safety. Receiver is equipped w/ Weaver bases, streamlined rings & carries a Weaver K4-1 scope w/ steel tube & duplex crosshair. Work appears to be professionally done. Walnut stock has been refinished & a properly shaped recess added for the bolt handle. Original rear sling swivel is present. Quick detachable front swivel. CONDITION: stock has light wear & scattered handling marks throughout. Follower has been modified to allow bolt to close when empty. Metal retains traces of original blue turning gray & patina w/ light wear & spots of light oxidation. Bright bolt is turning gray. Bore has strong lands w/ light frosting in the grooves.
