Cal. 45-70. S# 564570. Bbl. 29 1/2". Blade front sight with Buffington rear sight. Case-colored low arch breech block with an 1884 date. Two-band walnut stock with iron fittings. Left ear of the stock has a clear 1893-dated "SWP" cartouche. Toeline has a clear circle "P" firing proof below a stamped "2". Left side of the stock is stamped "201/R". Bottom of the forearm forward of the trigger guard is stamped "R". Slotted-tip iron cleaning rod. Very last of production trapdoors, about 10,500 mfg, 1890–93. CONDITION: 70% lightly faded blue. Action and breech block retain 40% of the lightly visible case colors. Stock has its original finish, showing numerous scratches, marks, and small dents. Good, bright bore with strong rifling.
