Cal. 22 LR. S# 5387B. Bbl. 24 1/2". Band mounted globe front sight w/ Lyman 48 receiver sight. MI action is converted & remarked to MII style. Bolt is numbered to rifle, bolt handle marked "NS/M2". First type conversion w/out adj. headspace mechanism having knurled cocking knob & shortened bolt throw. Type B finger groove stock w/ deeply checkered steel buttplate. Left side of stock has "SA" marking. Modern sling on original swivels. MAGS: 3 total. 2 Original 5 rd. & 1 replacement 5 rd. CONDITION: bbl. shows 80% lightly faded parkerized finish. Receiver retains 90% polished blue finish. Bottom metal finish is flaking to brown showing handling marks. Original stock finish shows scattered scratches & marks. Bore retains strong rifling.
