Cal. 12 ga., 2 3/4". S# 17805. During WWII, the Ordnance Department purchased 12,174 Model 620A shotguns including trench, riot and training versions. Late production 620A's were actually marked "MODEL 620". Bbl. 20" cylinder bore. 6 Row handguard and plum colored bayonet lug. Right side of barrel and left side of receiver are marked "P" above flaming bomb. Left side of receiver above trigger guard is stamped "US". Trigger guard is stamped "M" / "S". Plain round forearm and pistol grip walnut stock with original buttplate. Web sling on original swivels. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Vietnam era Model 1917 bayonet with green composite scabbard in very good condition. CONDITION: 70% lightly worn and fading military finish showing slide and carry wear. Bayonet lug has very good plum finish. Wood shows scattered handling marks. Bright near excellent bore. (22-4783/DS). CURIO. $2,500-3,500.
