Engraved case colored no. 44 action w/ double set triggers. Nickel finished short loop lever w/ 2 panel checkered inserts. Full coverage engraving centers around flowing spirals w/ straight line borders having floral highlights. Schnable tipped forearm & perch belly cheekpiece Swiss style stock of fancy black walnut w/ nickel finished Schuetzen style buttplate. Forearm & pistol grip area of stock have ornate wraparound hand checkering. Mfg. 1896-1916. WEIGHT: 11 lbs, 12 ozs. CONDITION: fine. Bbl. retains over 97% original blue showing faint edge wear. Action has 80% lightly faded case colors. Very good original wood finish showing scattered light marks. Sound action w/ functioning triggers. Bore is generally bright retaining lightly worn rifling.
