20 GA. SIDEPLATED BOXLOCK EJECTOR GAME GUN. Cal. 20 Ga. 3" chambers. S# 110604. The 25" dovetailed barrels fitted with full length matted rib are engraved with Bernardelli name and address on tops and are stamped with grade and Stoeger arms information on sides. Barrel flats are engine turned and stamped with 1966 Italian nitro proofs for 20 Ga. 3" chambers. Case hardened boxlock action with ornamental sideplates features automatic safety, Purdey type hidden third fastener and double triggers (front articulated). Action and lockplates are engraved with sprays of scroll and light scroll borders. Bernardelli markings are on watertable. Trigger plate is marked "GAMECOCK DELUXE". Relatively plain European walnut buttstock measures 14-1/4" over plastic Bernardelli buttplate. Point pattern checkering is on grip and a vacant silver shield is on toeline. Matching splinter ejector forend has Anson release. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter: L .633. R .633. Restriction: L .027 (full). R .004 (IC). Wall thickness: L .040. R .042. STOCK: DAH: 2-1/8". DAC: 1-1/2". CAST: neutral. LOP: 14-1/4". WEIGHT: 6 lb. 0 oz. CONDITION: exceptionally fine, retaining nearly all original factory finishes on wood and metal. Most evident wear is silvering around bottom of action and beads from normal hand wear. There are some scattered marks and dings in wood finish. Chrome lined bores are bright and shiny.
