Left side of bbl. exhibits standard factory markings denoting the model and cal. designations, with "1 of 1" in gold on the right. Receiver features masterfully executed near full coverage unbordered scroll engraving on a punch dot background, which extends to the tangs and sides of the lever. Left side of the receiver features a gold bordered scene of 2 gold inlaid woodcock, with the right featuring a gold bordered scene of 2 gold inlaid mourning doves. Underside of receiver is engraved "JOHN K. PEASE ENGR." below the S# "SG00001" in gold characters. Metal components exhibit a lustrous blue finish overall. Finely figured high grade checkered wood forearm and straight grip buttstock with checkered black synthetic Winchester buttplate. Ramped, hooded, and white beaded blade front sight with U-notch buckhorn rear sight. Receiver is factory drilled and tapped with 4 plug screws. Full length tubular mag.
