SHOTGUN WITH CASE & ACCESSORIES. Cal. 20 Ga. 2-3/4". S# 20-05045. The 26" barrels with broad matted game rib are marked with Parker Reproduction by Winchester info on left barrel. Right barrel is marked "MADE IN JAPAN". Barrel flats are stamped with reproduction overload proofs and IC and Mod chokes. Frame size "0" is on rear lump. Case hardened Parker action with automatic safety and double triggers are engraved in usual late DH style; with dogs surrounded by scroll on sides and "PARKER" on bottom. Trigger plate is engraved with usual pheasants. What sets this gun apart is its exceptional fiddle figured American walnut straight grip buttstock which measures 14-1/2" over skeleton steel buttplate. Drop points, grip checkering and vacant gold oval are of standard D type. Matching but not quiet so dramatically figured long beavertail forend has reinforcing bolt and usual Parker release. MEASUREMENTS: STOCK: DAH: 2-3/16". DAC: 1-7/16". CAST: neutral. LOP: 14-1/2". WEIGHT: 6 lb. 11 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: gun comes in original tan leather case with glued on leather corners; lined in green cloth. Black Parker Reproduction label is in lid. Case contains correct snap caps and 2 keys. Case has its original tan canvas leather trimmed leather cover. CONDITION: exceptionally fine. Appears essentially unfired since proof, with nearly all factory finishes on wood and metal. There are only one or two minor marks in wood. Case is also essentially "as new" with some rubs on outer cover. This distinctive gun with its spectacular stock is only accented by its double triggers which are only found on about 10% of production. (25-5091/MGM). MODERN. $4,000-6,000.
