Cal. 45 ACP. S# 47-006097. Bbl. 16". Manufactured in 2000. The H&K USC (Universal Self Loading Carbine) is the civilian variant in semi auto only, rather than select fire, of the UMP (Universal Machine Pistol). This was heavily marketed as the "next generation" of SMG's, to replace the highly successful MP5 family. Available in both 9mm Parabellum & .45 ACP, this example belonging to the latter. The 16" bbl. has no threads w/ 6X polygonal rifling w/ a right hand twist to properly stabilize the 230 gr. pill. Hooded blade front sight w/ a dual aperture rear sight. Top mounted 7 1/2" picatinny rail for sight mounting. Currently sporting a Leupold Mark 4 CQ/T 1-3x14mm sight w/ amber illuminated dot & circle reticle. Gray chassis w/ ambidextrous safety / selector & left side bolt release. Chassis marked w/ AA date code signifying the manufacturing year as 2000 w/ antler of Ulm proof house. Bolt & barrel both marked w/ Eagle over "N" definitive nitro proof mark & "HK / 45ACP". Mag release located rear center of mag similar to placement on the AK47 family of firearms. MAGS: 1 plastic factory 10 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 48" aluminum lockable transport case. CONDITION: all outward appearances indicate more time was probably spent displaying this firearm than shooting it. No obvious blemishing of any kind. Shiny bore w/ strong rifling & fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. (22-2160/JZ). MODERN. $1,500-2,000.
