Cal. 6.5 Swedish. S# 22609. S# matches on receiver, bolt & buttplate. Bbl. 25 5/8". Import mark on right side of bbl. The Ljungman rifle was designed in early WWII by Eric Eklund & brought quickly into production. It uses a direct gas system similar in principle to the one used by the AR-15 Series of rifles. The open rear sight is operated by a knob on the left side which gives the ranges in hundreds of meters from one to seven. Blade front sight w/ protective hood. Front sight equipped w/ windage adjustment screw in base. Cleaning rod is present. The bbl. has an integral muzzle brake located behind the front sight base. Receiver is marked at the left front end w/ Swedish crown over "C 1943" "B". Receiver is marked on right side w/ "S.S.". Receiver cover is marked w/ "B". Rifle is equipped w/ cylindrical rubber bumper on right side to control ejected cases. Safety is located at rear of receiver. Hardwood stock & handguard. Buttstock w/ grasping grooves has brass condition disk on right side of butt. Flat steel buttplate. MAGS: 1 Detachable 10 rd. marked on bottom w/ "B" & marked on forward end with crown "C" over "B". CONDITION: stock set has light wear and handling marks over original finish. Metal has 80% original blue w/ thinning & light wear. Mag. has dark arsenal reparkerized appearance.
