Cal. 7.5 Swiss Revolver. S# P381. Bbl. 4 1/2". Bead front sight. U-notch rear sight. Private sale revolver mfg. 1909. Bbl., cyl., ejector rod & loading gate matching numbered to frame. Hammer is numbered "08". Trigger & underside of bbl. have additional "2226" that is likely an assembly number. Blue finish w/ strawed hammer, loading gate & trigger. Checkered brown grips w/ Swiss cross on left side. Bottom of grip frame has lanyard ring. CONDITION: grips show some light dings & handling marks. Strawed parts retain strong amounts of their finish w/ some oxidation staining & fading. Balance of metal retains 92% original blue w/ a drag line on cyl., some light oxidation, a bit of edge wear & scattered light fading to brown. Good bright bore that shows some light pitting & frosting but strong rifling. PROVENANCE: The Collection of Curtis H Halvorson. (23-5862/MJC). CURIO. $400-600.
