Cal. 7.5X23R (7.5mm Swiss rev.). S# 12825. Bbl. 4 5/8" oct. w/ bead front sight & notched frame rear. Mfg. 1892-1929 w/ S#1-32250. 2nd variation w/ flare on bbl. at frame juncture w/in S# 1500-20000. Checkered hard rubber grips w/ Swiss cross on left. Elongated swivel at butt w/ provision for shoulder stock. All matching numbers (using additional assembly number “8686”) except ejector retaining spring numbered 10, its retaining screw numbered 9, & the rod head screw numbered 11. Usual inspection markings on left frame with deaccession date “P36” (1936). CONDITION: near excellent with minimal sharp edge wear. Muzzle still in the white; proud deaccession markings, comparable condition straw and grips. Tight lockup on each chamber w/ minimal wobble. Excellent bore with sharp rifling. A very nice, high condition, example of a Swiss 1882 Military Revolver. (22-6/LA). CURIO $750-1,000.
