SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 30 Luger. S# 31263. Bbl. 4 3/4". Swiss Model 06/24 Luger semi-automatic pistol, mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1933. The bbl. extension is marked with a "BP" proof, followed by a boxed Cross/M (Major Muhlemann) inspection proof. Toggle is marked with a Swiss Federal cross over "WAFFENFABRIK/ BERN". Major metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, with some smaller components exhibiting a straw finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Blade front sight with V-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, sideplate, trigger, grip safety, bbl., the bbl. extension, breechblock, toggles, as well as the grips. Mag. appears to have been sanded and renumbered to match. Grip screws are replacements. MAGS: one 8-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain bountiful amounts of their Swiss arsenal blue finish, exhibiting some light wear and a few superficial handling marks, with some areas of light to mild surface oxidation present overall. Strawed components exhibit varying degrees of wear, with worn areas showing through to a gray patina and spots of age-related discoloration. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Grips show some spots of light smoothing, as well as a few nicks and marks to the diamonds, but are otherwise very good overall.
