RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. S# 4592. Bbl. 23" with factory installed front sight of Williams Streamline ramp with brass bead; folding leaf rear sight on Lyman 25 style raised base. Mfg. 1983-1986 as upper tier rifle based on the Hunter Rifle. Features high gloss bluing, stainless double set triggers, checkered forend, checkered pistol grip buttstock with red pad and raised cheekpiece (straight comb) plus satin finish American walnut furniture; sling studs added. Factory drilled and tapped for scope mounting having Redfield base. CONDITION: light horizontal rub mark on bottom front of receiver and also on leading bottom left and right edges; appears caused by a rifle rack and cradling. Angular raised sides of receiver have thinning finish on edges. Balance of rifle is near excellent including bore. (26-1406/NW). MODERN. $500-750.
