1) SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1880 ALL PURPOSE KNIFE, S# 491 13 1/2" overall w/ 8 1/2" double fullered spear point blade, medial ridge, one side sharpened. All purpose knife made for use by all troops. Brass guard stamped "US SPRINGFIELD" & serial numbered on opposite side. Watervliet Arsenal marked leather sheath with brass mounts. Very good overall, old sharpening. 2) MODEL 1873 ENTRENCHING TOOL, 8" x 3.75" blade, one sharpened side and nose, turned wood handle, marked "US", sheet metal sheath with sewn leather cover, brass trimmed throat. Blade has much of its luster, old sharpening, leather sheath has "US" stamped. 3) MODEL 1917 BOLO KNIFE, dated 1918, made by American Cutlery Co, Chicago, 10.25" heavy bolo blade, OD canvas & leather covered sheath with belt hook. Good overall, worn, good blade marking. CONDITION: good overall as described. (02-26107/JS). NON-GUN. $200-400.
