Cal. 6.5 Carcano. S# G8230. Bbl. 33 1/4". Blade front sight. Ladder rear sight graduated to 2000m. Stock has been arsenal force matched to bbl. Bolt WW1 update of an Italian Vetterli rifle to 6.5 Carcano. Bbl. has 1874 date & Torino arsenal markings. Dull reblue finish. Beech stock set with bottom mounted sling swivels & faint left side roundel. No cleaning rod present. CONDITION: refinished stock shows scattered dings & handling marks. Metal retains 75% reblue with a few spots of light pitting, scattered fading to gray, oxidation & edge wear. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Dark bore with scattered pitting & oxidation.
