1) Model 1850 enlisted Cavalryman’s sword belt plate w/ 3 piece applied German silver wreath. CONDITION: very good overall w/ light chocolate patina. 2) Enlisted infantryman’s belt buckle, lead filled oval US w/ arrow hooks. CONDITION: fair to good, better edges, good patina. 3) Bull’s-eye canteen, pewter spout w/ maker’s name “PORTER & BOOTH, PHILA”, original freight sling intact, original stopper attached to strength. CONDITION: very good overall, canvas sling intact & knotted as found. 4) Bull’s-eye canteen, pewter spout w/ maker’s name “GRATZ” – Philadelphia. CONDITION: very good, areas of rust & sm. hole. 5) Smooth sided canteen w/ partial leather strap & stopper, missing cork attached chain. CONDITION: fair overall, wood dance, open seam & missing bottom soldered loop. 6) Civil War canteen reissued for later service w/ canvas cover stenciled “U.S.” & 2 added triangular sling loops.
