LOUISIANA DOCUMENT. Two 1862 dated Confederate bonds; one $500 & one $1,000, both hand signed in 1862, both have 12 remaining coupons. Large 20"x16" printed land document signed governor and later Confederate general Paul Hebert. CONDITION: both bonds are good with light stains. The Hebert document is soiled, stained, cracked at top fold, insect damage to one edge, all text is complete. PROVENANCE: Estate collection of Compton LaBauve Jr. (02-26476-12/JS). NON-GUN. $300-600.
