Late 18th century, Holland. Each signed example with scalloped wavy edge having blue border. The first depicting a scene of a young solider tending to an injured soldier leaning against trees within a landscape. The second lighter toned example depicts two women seated at the entrance of a building. The attendant offering a spindle of yarn to a child in the arms of its mother. A landscape with town in the background. SIZE: 8 1/4" dia and 8 3/4" dia. CONDITION: good with age related abrasions on the rims and scattered fleabites.
