Late 19th century. 1) Round example with ruffled edge on a pink ground over a band of cameo cut gryphons and floral sprays on a cream white ground above a rose pink foot. Fitted with a silver plate stand, handle of scrolling foliate design terminating in clusters of cherries joined to the circular footed base cast with foliate and floral scrollwork raised on four outswept foliate feet. Base marked "Pairpoint Mf'g. Co,", "P" within a diamond "Quadruple Plate 4715". SIZE: Overall 10 1/2" h x 9" dia. 2) Square example with fluted edge and white gloss interior. The exterior with a wide pink band and pink foot centering a white band with cameo cut pink opposing gryphons on either side; each pair holding a framed floral basket alternating with floral panels in pink cameo. The Pairpoint holder marked and numbered "4717". The handle shaped in the form of conjoined oak tree branches joined by a reticulated floral handle, branches are additionally adorned with acorns centering a circular base cast with floral and foliate cartouches terminating in four outswept foliate feet.
