1) 31 cal single shot, mock up marked “CB ALLEN 1837 / SPRINGFIELD MASS / ELGINS PAT SEPT 8”. Made with old barrel and hammer. Frame and attached blade with integral non functioning trigger, 12” overall including 8” blade, percussion octagonal barrel is 3.75”. Fairly good overall, never meant to function as a firearm though the knife blade is quite sharp. 2) Double barrel pinfire, 15mm caliber, pistol is 10.5” overall, 14” double edged blade raised to central rib makes overall length 19.5 inches, 5.5” barrels. Blade hade etched panel: “I. N. COMMIN / SPAIN”. Good very good overall, iron cleaned to mottled grey/brown patina, grip slabs worn, one slightly loose, mechanism functional, both hammers hold full cock and engage folding triggers, clear smooth bores.
