20th century, Central Persia. 1) The Qashgai with double latch hook medallions on a blue-black field within multiple floral, snowflake and other geometric borders. SIZE: 3' 5" x 4' 8". 2) The Isfahan with a central floral gold trellis medallion, all in a pink field with dense cream, pale gold and yellow vinery within stylized leafy floral meandering trellis work borders. SIZE: 4' 4" x 6' 10". PROVENANCE: From the John Webber Estate of Bangor, Maine. CONDITION: Qashgai with overall even significant wear. The Isfahan with evenly worn pile, but full. Rug is generally soiled from high traffic, therefore palette appears dull. Rug needs a thorough cleaning. (05-554, 05-628/TG). $500-700.
