20th century. 1) Oil on canvas depicts two card players, each holding the ace of spades and the man facing in a yellow shirt, blue scarf has a drawn revolver on the unseen player. Signed lower right in yellow "AML 03" in a diamond. Housed in a molded frame. 2) Oil on canvas depicts a desperado in front of a wanted poster "WANTED For Murder Sonny Tabor". One would assume this is Sonny firing his six shooters at an unseen lawman. Signed lower right in yellow "AML 03" in a diamond. Housed in a molded frame. NOTE: these paintings were inspired by the works of pulp artist Walter Baumhofer (1904-1987). He sold his art to slick magazines including The American Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Dime Detective and more. SIZE: each overall is 24" x 20", sight 20" x 16". CONDITION: each is very good.
