1) U.S. Grant 1865 ribbon marked "Richmond 1865 Vicksburg Fort Donelson" with an image of Ulysses S. Grant with "General U.S. Grant." and "I will fight it out on this line". SIZE: Approx. 7 1/4" to the end of the tassels x 1 3/4" w. 2) Campaign Jugate ribbon for Harrison and Morton, 1888. Top banded off white colored silk ribbon has "PROTECTION." across the top, "1888" with a profile of General Benjamin Harrison and a profile of Honorable Levi P. Morton to his right; each having a banner with their respected names underneath. A sailboat with the words 'We have met the enemy and they are ours", "Sep 10 1813". The lower portion of this ribbon has the words "Major General William Henry Harrison", with an image of him above "Hero of Tippecanoe", "Fort Meigs and Thames". SIZE: 8" x 3 1/8". CONDITION: Grant ribbon is split partway across the top. Harrison and Morton ribbon at one time was split from the top band as well as some old tape holding another split together. Both are on cardboard to protect the integrity of the fragile silk ribbons. (05-488/JJ). $200-300.
