UNSIGNED PAIR OF MASON MALLARD DRAKE & HEN DECOYS. 1) Mallard drake decoy, believed to have been made by the Mason Decoy Company. Decoy measures approx. 15 13/16" in length, featuring gray, brown, green, black, and white plumage, with an orange bill and glass eyes. CONDITION: good, with scattered wear, chipping (to the paint), and discoloration. Underside of decoy exhibits several cracks of varying size. 2) Mallard hen decoy believe to have been made by the Mason Decoy Company. Decoy measures approx. 16 1/2" in length, featuring brown, white, black, and green plumage, with a orange bill and glass eyes. CONDITION: decoy exhibits scattered spots of wear and flaking, with scattered handling marks and impressions, as well as a few cracks. Neck exhibits an old adhesive repair around the base. (02-25969/MLW). PAIR OF UNSIGNED BLUEBILL DRAKE & HEN DECOYS. 1) Bluebill drake decoy crafted by an unknown maker. Decoy measures approx. 14" in length, featuring brown plumage, a blue bill, and glass eyes. Underside is fitted with a 7" steel weight and is marked with a "D". 2) Bluebill hen decoy crafted by an unknown maker. Decoy measures approx. 14" in length, featuring black and white plumage, a blue bill, as well as glass eyes. Underside if fitted with a 7" steel weight and is marked "D" on the underside of the tail. CONDITION: decoys exhibit scattered spots nd patches of flaking with moderate wear. Each decoy exhibits a repaired crack around the circumference of the neck, as well as a large crack running along the left of the weight. Drake exhibits a long crack stemming from the neck and running down the breast, with an additional crack stemming from the rear of the tail on the left side. Lower crack on hen runs up to the lower half of the breast, with 2 additional cracks present above. (02-25987/MLW). BOTH NON-GUN. $200-400.
