MILITARY RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. S# 5627535. Bbl. 24". Marked on right side "HRA 5-55". Throat & muzzle gauges: 1.5. Hang-tags accompanying the rifle indicate the rifle saw service in Greece. T105E1 aperture rear sight. Blade front sight w/ protective ears. All major parts markings are "HRA" except operating rod which is "SA". Stamped trigger guard. High hump gas cylinder lock. Walnut stock & rear handguard. Front handguard is hardwood replacement. Buttstock is marked on left side w/ worn boxed defense eagle. Marked under grip w/ encircled "P" proof & marked at end of grip w/ "6". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: owner's manual, two hang-tags, 8 rd. clip, green nylon sling & yellow open bolt indicator. Also present is a padded shipping box. CONDITION: stock set is well-worn w/ staining & numerous handling marks. Appears to be original finish. Metal retains 60% of its worn thinning original parkerized finish. Muzzle has been lightly recrowned, but leaves a tiny dent in the six o'clock position. Very good shiny bore.
