Cal. 22 LR. S# 77367. Bbl. 6 7/8" tapered target weight with pinned hooked target blade plus proper Micro adjustable rear on receiver. Mfg. 1956 (1951-1982 for target models) as MK678 with blued finish, "U. S." over chamber, serrated silver trigger, normal non tapered bolt ears, small 1/16" S# and checkered walnut grips of Ruger style having RH thumb rest but no eagle medallions (likely omitted for military sales). Made as training pistols within first military contract of 4,000 units. MAGS: 2 factory 9 rd. with chromed bases; 1 early type with charging slot only on right and 1 later type with charging slot on both sides. CONDITION: very good to near excellent with factory quality refinish having some very minor marks throughout. Grips have faint hand wear on right; near excellent left. Near excellent bore.
