ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 22 LR. S# 112343D. Bbl. 28". Model 52D single shot bolt action rifle mfg. by Winchester in 1963. Left side of the bl. exhibits standard factory markings denoting the model and cal. designations. Left side of the receiver is electro-penciled "U S" above the S#. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt body, which is polished in-the-white. Aluminum trigger guard and hand stop rail exhibit a blue / black anodized finish. 1-piece plain wood pistol grip stock with aforementioned hand stop rail and grooved black rubber Winchester recoil pad. Redfield Olympic Model globe post front sight and receiver mounted adj. aperture rear sight. Rear of bbl. is drilled and tapped with x2 scope blocks. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: aluminum hard case. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some light edge wear, as well as scattered spots of light surface oxidation. Mirror bore, exhibiting a few scattered spots of light surface oxidation, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Stock shows finish wear, as well as scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sound. PROVENANCE: From the Lifetime Collection of Malcolm Zickler, Ret. USAF Lt. Col.
