KNIFE, WITH SHEATH. U.S.G.I. custom theater made fighting knife, produced from a German Sword & Shield knife. The left side of the blade is marked "SWORD&SHIELD/ SOLINGEN GERMANY". The blued blade measures 6 1/8" from the point to the top of the handle, with an overall length of 10 7/8". Heavy duty handle is constructed of cast steel. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: unmarked brown leather sheath. CONDITION: blade retains fair amounts of its blue finish, exhibiting wear and thinning that shows through to gray patina, with scattered spots of light to mild pitting present overall. Handle exhibits a dark gray patina, with some spots of light surface oxidation. Sheath remains malleable, exhibiting some wear overall. (02-24400/MLW). $700-1,000.
