ACCOUTREMENTS. This rig mfg. by Mills includes a web holster for the 1911 Colt pistol as referenced in the book U.S. MILITARY HOLSTERS AND RELATED ACCOUTREMENTS by Edward Scott Meadows. . The holster set up w/ a 1910 belt hook is marked under flap w/ "MILLS" cartridge logo. Flap has "lift the dot" fastener. Riveted metal tip has Mills logo & 1914 patent dates. Tip is equipped w/ rawhide tie down. Model 1912 pistol belt marked on brass tab, "MADE BY" / MILLS WOVEN CARTRIDGE BELT CO." / "WOCESTER MASS U.S.A.". Two pocket mag. pouch w/ "lift the dot" fasteners marked under flap w/ MILLS (logo) / "1918" / PAT. JULY 16, 07 OCT 22 18". First aid pouch marked under flap w/ "MILLS" (logo). Flap fastened by 2 plain snaps. Model 1910 belt hook. Pouch contains sealed brass first aid packet marked "U.S. ARMY" dated "1917". Web items are khaki colored. Brass fittings have Mills Bronze finish. CONDITION: Items have light wear and staining w/ tight stitching. Metal fittings have moderate wear w/ patinaed appearance in worn areas.
