ACCOUTREMENTS. The russet leather holster is marked "U.S." on the body and marked "G.&K." / "1917" / "A.G." on the belt loop. Plug at end of holster fitted w/ brass ring and stud. Drain hole at inside of hip. Model 1912 Mills pistol belt. Tab is marked "MADE BY" / "MILLS WOVEN CARTRIDGE BELT CO." / WOCESTER MASS. U.S.A.". Belt has mag. pouch snap & is equipped w/ trapezoidal saber attachment. Russet leather saber hanger w/ brass hook. Short strap is marked "R.I.A. 1903.C". Long strap is marked "D. 5 43". Canvas ammunition pouch w/ 3 pockets arranged vertically. Pouch is for 45 revolver ammunition on half moon clips. Pouch is unmarked & has snap to hold position on pistol belt. Canvas first aid pouch closed by 2 plain snaps. Marked under flap "JPS 1918". Equipped w/ Model 1910 belt hook. Sealed brass U.S. Army first aid packet dated 1918. CONDITION: items have light wear, staining and scuffing. Stitching is tight. Metal fittings have light wear & loss of finish. PROVENANCE: The Collection of Edward Scott Meadows.
