17" fullered blade. 22 3/4" overall. Bayonet was acquired from the original British contract and carries both U.S. and British acceptance marks. Left ricasso marked "1913 1 16" and encircled "REMINGTON". Right ricasso has broad arrow view mark and "U.S.A.". Walnut grips. Green painted leather scabbard with metal tips. Belt has been removed from throat and is no-longer present. CONDITION: bayonet is turning overall gray with a cleaned appearance showing a vintage sharpening. The grips have moderate wear and handling marks throughout with a small crack at rear of right grip. Scabbard has thinning green paint. Stitching is tight. Metal throat turning gray and patina with light oxidation. (02-26688/RW). NON-GUN. $200-300.
