Cal. 30 Carbine. S# 422241. Bbl. 18". Barrel marked on left side w/ Blue Sky import mark. Barrel marked behind front sight "UNDERWOOD / 3-44 / flaming bomb". Stamped aperture rear sight marked "I.R.CO.". Blade front sight w/ protective ears. Sight base is marked "SI U". Barrel band w/ bayonet lug marked "MMQ". Six o'clock slide marked "PI". Flat bolt marked "SG". Fabricated trigger housing marked on left side "ROCK-OLA". Rotary safety. Mag. catch marked "SI". Straight cut hammer marked "HI". Walnut pot-belly stock marked "IO" in barrel channel & marked w/ "M" in sling slot. Two rivet handguard marked "IO". MAGS: six total, five are GI 15 round, one is 5 round sporting type. CONDITION: stock set has well-worn arsenal rework finish w/ staining & scattered handling marks. Metal retains most of its arsenal rework parkerized finish w/ light wear. Very good shiny bore. (25-5280/RW). CURIO. $500-700.
