Cal. 30 Carb. S# 3019723. Bbl. 18" marked behind front sight "INLAND MFG. DIV. / GENERAL MOTORS / 11-43." Stamped adj. aperture rear sight marked "I.R.CO.". Blade front sight with protective ears. The sight base is marked "RP." Bbl. band with bayonet lug and wire swivel marked "AMCO". straight-cut, unmarked slide. Flat bolt is marked "U." The milled trigger guard is marked only with a flaming bomb in front of the guard bow. Rotary safety. Mag. catch marked "WA". Straight-cut hammer marked "U." Walnut stock set. Buttstock is marked in the sling slot with a faint "TRIMBLE" and "TN." Marked on the left side over the trigger guard with "AAW" and "AAM." Augusta Arsenal rework marks. Plain "P" proof under grip. The four-rivet handguard is marked in the bbl. groove with an "A." MAGS: NONE. CONDITION: stock set has a lightly worn Arsenal rework finish. The finish is over numerous dents and handling marks. Handguard has a chip with epoxy repair at the tip. Repair is not visible when the rifle is assembled. Metal retains 75% of its original parkerized finish. Very good, shiny bore.
