Sight base w/ protective ears marked "R". Wide bbl. band w/ wire swivel & bayonet lug. Band is marked "JM". Lug is marked "SU". Six o'clock slide marked "PI" & marked on bottom w/ "M" & drawing number. Flat bolt marked "N14". Recoil plate marked "W". Milled trigger guard marked "INLAND". Rotary safety. Mag. catch marked "WA". Straight cut hammer. Walnut stock set. Buttstock is marked on right side w/ crossed cannons. Marked on left side w/ boxed "OG" indicating test & check at Ogden Arsenal. Sling slot marked "HI". Marked at end of pistol grip w/ "D" & "P". Rack "#27" on top of grip enhance in white. 4 Rivet handguard marked "IO". Khaki colored web sling marked "JT&L 1942". MAGS: 3 - 15 rd. blued steel, 2 in original wrappers. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: canvas 2 pocket mag. pouch dated 1944. 6 1/2" blade M4 bayonet. Front of crossguard is marked "US M4 CAMILLUS". Leather washer handle. Scabbard is marked "U.S. M8A1". Plastic body w/ web frog. Bayonet in very good condition w/ lightly worn parkerization. Blade has been sharpened. CONDITION: stock set has considerably worn original finish w/ numerous handling marks. Notable area of abrasion on left side below sling slot. Metal retains 75% original, worn, parkerized finish.
