AUTO TRAINING SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. S# 704195. Bbl. 26", plain, round bbl. Bbl. is marked on top: "REMINGTON ARMS CO. INC. ILION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A.". Patent information. Marked over chamber "U.S.", flaming bomb. Bbl. marked on left side: "12 GA .FOR 2 3/4 OR SHORTER SHELLS" / "IMP CYL". Silver-colored bead front sight, mounted onto the ramp. Receiver marked on top left: "U.S.", flaming bomb, "MILITARY FINISH". Bolt is marked "MODEL 11". Checkered walnut stock set. Forend made with grasping grooves. Buttstock has added hobbiest gunsmith checkering. Replacement black Remington buttplate. CONDITION: well worn, original flaking finish. Buttstock checkering with flattening of diamonds. Forend has notable extended cracks on both sides. Checkering has worn and flattened diamonds. Metal has 60% of its thinning original blue with scattered handling marks. Very good, shiny bore.
