PISTOL. Cal. 22mm. NSN. Bbl. 6". Mark 5 flare pistol mfg. by R.F. Sedgley in 1944. Top of the bbl. is marked "SIGNAL PISTOL MARK 5 R.F. SEDGLEY.INC.1944". Alloy construction with 1-piece synthetic frame marked "USN" within a checkered diamond on either side. Metal components exhibit a gray finish. CONDITION: metal components exhibit scattered marks and scratches from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sound. Bright bore, exhibiting scattered spots of apparent hardened grease.
