RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. S# 1417210. Bbl. 24". Marked on right side "SA / 12 53". Replacement bbl. throat gauges 2.0. Muzzle gauges less than 1. Receiver produced in 1943. T105E1 rear sight. Blade front sight w/ protective ears. Bolt is marked "IHC". Operating rod & hammer are "HRA". Stamped trigger guard. Walnut stock set. Buttstock has very faint boxed "GAW / crossed cannons" w/ encircled "P" proof at grip. Proof is over-stamped "A". Green web sling. CONDITION: stock set has wear, staining & numerous handling marks over arsenal rework type finish. There are several filled dents on the buttstock. Thin 1" crack is present on the left side at the buttplate. Metal retains 70% of its worn thinning original parkerized finish. Very good shiny bore. (25-3893/RW). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
