WINCHESTER RELATED PARTS. Cal. 30-06. S# 1604947. Bbl. 24". Throat gauges 2.0. Muzzle gauges 1.0. Barrel is marked on top "D35448W.R.A.". Barrel is marked on the right side w/ "WP" proof. Receiver carries the standard Winchester markings at heel & the desirable "D28291WIN-13" marking on the right front of the receiver below the wood line. These receivers were given the "WIN 13" markings as they were produced in 1943, but not assembled into rifles until production was nearly ended. Incomplete rear sight consists of movable base, aperture sight & retaining clip. Front sight gas cylinder, lock & lock screw are not present. Winchester trigger assembly marked on left side "D28290-W.R.A.". Hammer is marked "C-46008-1" followed closely by "W.R.A.". Operating rod w/ relief cut is marked "D35382-W.R.A.". Milled trigger guard is marked "C 46025" followed by "W.R.A.". Walnut stock w/ ferrule & sling swivel is Winchester production & has the boxed "WRA / JHD" & "crossed cannons" which appear to be refreshed. Faint encircled "P" proof under grip. Trap buttplate is not present. Walnut front handguard w/ heat shield & ferrule. Walnut rear handguard w/ retaining clip. CONDITION: stock set has well-worn arsenal rework finish w/ numerous handling marks throughout. Handguard has notable repaired crack on the upper right side. Receiver has wear, turning gray & patina w/ small spots of oxidation & very fine pitting. Barrel retains 70% of its arsenal rework parkerized finish. Trigger guard assembly has turned an overall worn gray. Good shiny bore w/ lightly worn lands. (25-2911/RW). MODERN. $400-600.
