Cal. 45 LC. S# P0321. Bbl. 4 3/4" w/ blade front sight. Mfg. 1988 by Uberti & distributed by American Historical Foundation; 2500 units at $1,995 issue price. Engraved silver plated copy of General Patton's (1885-1945) Colt SAA that he carried throughout WWII in the European Theater. white synthetic grips w/ red, white & blue medallions having the 4 stars of his General rank plus 1885 & 1945. Very faithful reproduction except for Swiss style safety in hammer; lanyard swivel in butt. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: walnut vertical display case w/ glass sides; decorated with 4 stars & silver plated name plaque having dates of birth & death. Minimal light marks on exterior. Open topped brown leather holster set by El Paso Saddlery w/ circular brass U.S. marked buckle plus adjustable 2" wide belt having brass eyelets, 12 rd. cartridge holder & compass pouch. Top of holster w/ numerous scuff marks from revolver insertion. Light stains on belt. Light verdigris around brass fittings plus within cartridge loops. CONDITION: very good appearance w/ faint dullness & slight tarnishing that would benefit from application of quality metal polish as evidenced by test polish of ejector rod housing & sides of hammer. Rear of cyl. w/ Italian proofs plus "C", "2" & "3" over stamped together plus "9" & "7' over stamped together. Near excellent bore & grips. (22-5571/NW). CURIO. $1,200-1,800.
