Cal. 11mm. NSN. Bbl. 30". Needlefire rifle that is likely of French or Belgian origin. Bolt opens on left side & hammer actuates firing. Right side of butt has "MUSEE DE L'ARTTle" & "312" markings. Other parts are largely unmarked. No needle is present. Ladder rear sight graduated to 900m. Blade front sight. Right side bayonet mount. Hardwood stock w/ bottom mounted sling swivels. CONDITION: stock appears sanded long ago w/ a few patch repairs, a crack forming on right side between the two bands & some handling marks. Metal was heavily cleaned to bright w/ scattered scratches, oxidation & some fine pitting. Worn bore w/ scattered pitting & oxidation. (01-22248/MJC). ANTIQUE. $400-700.
