WITH ACCESSORIES & TRUNK. These lights were intended for the illumination of landing areas at temporary airfields & other purposes. The 110 volt lights were designed to illuminate an area of 90 degrees by 2,000 feet. Lights are made w/ a very high quality lens which resembles a lighthouse lens & is assembled in replaceable segments. Each trunk is designed to hold a complete floodlight assembly w/ its 3 adj. legs, anchor devices & spare bulbs but requires the use of a separate electric power plant. Mfg. by The American Gas Accumulator Company of Elizabeth, N. J. Instruction manual is dated November 1942. Trunk measures approx. 37" X 21" X 20". Trunk contains 3 adj. poles. Yellow painted floodlight assembly. Instruction manual. 6 Spare bulbs, canvas anchor bags & anchor rod. CONDITION: tan colored trunk has extensive wear, light oxidation & tears in outer covering. Contents although untested appear to be in serviceable condition. Lens appears intact. (02-16090-1/RW). $800-1,200.
