Cal. 577-450 Martini. S# 08435. Bbl. 21". Ramped blade front sight. Ladder rear sight graduated to 900yds. MKI ICI Martini Henry carbine. Left side of action marked with British crown over "VR/ENFIELD ENFIELD ICI". Walnut stock set with faint roundel on right side of butt & two screws around roundel. Rear sling swivel present on left side of butt. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: US-Afghan War bringback paper dated May of 2012 from Bagram Air Force base. The paperwork states this carbine is indeed an antique & was verified so at Bagram AFB. CONDITION: stock set has a worn appearance with scattered staining, dings & handling marks. Rear sight is bent. Metal is an overall cleaned silvery-gray color with scattered pitting, scratches, oxidation & handling marks. Action appears functional when hand cycled. Bore shows scattered frosting & moderate pitting but evident rifling. (01-27197/MJC). ANTIQUE. $400-600.
